Charles J. Cutler was 24 years old when he enlisted on 3/3/1865 at Grand Rapids, MI as a Private.
On 3/3/1865 he mustered into "E" Co. MI 9th Infantry
He was Mustered Out on 9/15/1865 at Nashville, TN
Charles was born in Michigan, he was a farmer, his father was John Cutler and mother was Francis Salmore. A copy of the death certificate can be viewed at the link below;
